Taught a 3D animation class at Loyola University - New Orleans where students learned 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and rendering. The students produced a motion graphics piece at the end of the class.

Workshop Leader for 100 Black Men (Mar 2016)
Led a 2 and a half hour session for the mentees of the New Orleans 100 Black Men chapter on Xavier University's campus. I taught about the different kinds of animation, jobs in animation and we did flipbooks as a project. I was amazed at the quality of some of the flipbooks.

Workshop Leader at NOCCA (Nov 2015)
Led a 4-session workshop at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts in New Orleans, LA. I introduced the students to 3D modeling using Autodesk Maya. The students designed and modeled chess pieces using different 3d modeling techniques.

Tutored a student in 3D modeling. Took him from total novice to being a semester ahead of his college peers once he matriculated.

Did a 2.5 hour session where I taught high school students how to use Autodesk Maya. We created a chest in 3D and rigged it to open and close using controls.

Did a 30 minute presentation where I told students about my background in animation and what I do specifically in 3D animation. Had the 5th grade students make a thaumatrope to show the simple principles of illusion that animation uses.

Performed a two hour presentation/workshop where I went over the different kinds of animation, jobs in animation, and an overview of STEM. I did an introduction to animation and had the high school students create flip books to showcase their understanding of the animation principles learned.

Did a 45 minute workshop for teens at Delgado for the Teen Tech Day. Taught students about the basic animation principles and had students make a simple flip book to showcase their animation knowledge.
