Goals
- Become proficient in creating short form animated videos
- Use 3D to create 2D/3D animated videos using Toon Shading
- Tap into an aggravation for an audience that is not currently represented in the online video/web series space
- Have time to be the artist that I want to be
- I have analysis paralysis so I want something where I can produce, produce, produce
- I feel like in commuting 160 miles a day, it doesn't leave me time to do my own art because my free time is limited
- I have analysis paralysis so I want something where I can produce, produce, produce
- Produce a work that shows my talents and my creative mind and the ability to collaborate
Content I Will Create
This project is a YouTube web series based on my almost 4 years of commuting 160 miles a day back and forth from New Orleans to Baton Rouge for work. Louisiana drivers are some of the worst drivers. When you add in some Texas transports and some Florida folks, it makes for a very interesting commute. Even if people don't have "road rage," you can usually get a good conversation going about what you don't like about how people drive wherever you live. I wanted to create an animated series that documents things that we all hate about bad drivers.
Additionally, I can do some behind-the-scenes videos and some mini tutorials regarding my use of 3D to illustrate some 2D elements.
