3D MODELER | TEACHER | SPEAKER
Deborah Anderson is a 3D modeler, speaker, and teacher. Currently, she works for the Louisiana Economic Department - FastStart program as an Animation Specialist and creates 3D models and animation that supplement training materials for companies in different industries such as energy, chemical, forest products, and water. She is also the Creator and Digital Content Manager for 3D Gumshoe, created to help 3D artists troubleshoot the issues they encounter when working on projects. Her specialization is 3D modeling. She does a lot of hard-surface modeling. She has a lot of projects in the works to expand into character modeling.
In her free time, Deborah does speaking engagement and workshops. Her patience and knack for troubleshooting allows her to fast track the knowledge her students gain and help them create quality projects in less time. She's looking to teach kids and adults animation and help guide them down the path of creative expression through the medium. She wants to inspire others to contribute their story and learn something new.
Previously, she worked at Digital eMation in South Korea where she was a 3D Artist on shows such as Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, Batman: The Brave and The Bold and Scooby Doo.
Deborah is also very active in her community. She is the President of the Urban League of Greater New Orleans Young Professionals which provides community service, professional development and social event for young professionals in the Greater New Orleans area. She is also on the Advocates board for New Orleans Charter Science and Math High School and on the Audience Advisory Committee for the Contemporary Arts Center.
